Activities

Nantes kept its nickname of " Venice of the west" from the time when people had to hop their way from island to island.

You  will relive  the past on "Ile Feydau" with its ancient mansion houses bearing witness to the marine wealth of 18th century. Then you can stroll along the narrow streets of the  Bouffay area, leading  to the "Chateau Des Ducs" or you can go up the steps of the "Pommeraye Passage".

You can also take a glimpse at modernity on the "Ile de Nantes" and climb aboard the "Elephant" . Why not enjoy a night walk and admire the illuminated rings designed by Buren

Nature and  journeys will amaze you on the "Ile de Versailles"  ,  Japanese gardens will invite you to take a pleasant stroll along the Erdre river.

The "Folles Journées" (a classical music festival ), the "Fêtes de l'Erdre" and the “Lieu Unique” bear witness to the cultural vitality of Nantes. Whatever your expectations, Nantes will seduce you.
